ELECTRIC MUSICAL MASSAGE TECHNIQUE AND RELATED DEVICE Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A61N1/32 A61M21/00

Abstract RU 2326702 C2

FIELD: medicine; equipment.

SUBSTANCE: biologically active points are electrically stimulated. Sound musical signals effect on auditory analyser. Video information emotionally associated with musical composition effect on visual receptors. Electric stimulation is performed with pulse current at pulse duration - 3.3·10-4 S - pulse-repetition frequency changes within the range- 1÷2·103 Hz according to musical signal frequency. Stimulating pulse frequency is stable within stimulation procedure. Electric musical massager comprises electronic information reproducing unit designed to generate musical signal. Besides, it includes electroacoustic transducer designed to accept accompanying-sound signal and coetaneous stimulating electrodes. Electronic information reproducing unit is furnished with complementary function of video information reproducing. Massager also contains video transducer connected to electronic information reproducing unit and designed to accept video signal, and sound signal converter to stimulating impulses with stable amplitude. Impulses are converted at repetition frequency, assigning accompanying-sound signal frequency within the range 1 to 2000 Hz, and with frequency-time characteristics corresponding to frequency-time characteristics of neuromuscular structure biopotentials.

EFFECT: increased efficiency owing to biological adaptation correspondence of harmonic stimulating current characteristics and induced potentials of neuromuscular structure inervation activity.
