SUBSTANCE: method involves exposing patient to the action of sound signal of musical composition and corresponding electrical signal, with signal amplitude being set in accordance with patient's personal perception. When required, controlled time delay between sound and electrical signals may be supplied. Apparatus has unit for reproducing sound from data carrier. Electroacoustic converter and primary winding of transformer are connected to output of data carrier. Secondary winding of transformer is connected to stimulating electrodes.
