FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to neurology and physiotherapy. Cathode in form of needle is introduced into area of periosteum lateral surface of humeral bone above its centre to depth of 2 mm. Anode is fixed epidermally over beam nerve on lower third of back surface of shoulder. Exposure is carried out with electric current of 5 to 10 mV, duration of 100-200 ms, frequency 1-2 Hz. Amplitude and duration of current pulses is set to level of painless sensations. Duration of one exposure is 1 minute, then 30 s pauses are made. Total of 10 exposures per session are made. Number of sessions per therapeutic course is not less than 15 performed every other day.
EFFECT: method improves treatment effectiveness which is achieved by applying electric current exposure on intraosseous and periostal nerve receptors during electrical stimulation with said parameters in disclosed mode.
