FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: electrode system for an ozone generator consists of flat electrodes 2 and 3, separated by dielectric barriers. At least one of the electrodes is in the form of a metallic film with thickness of 1.0 mcm, placed between two dielectric films 4 and 5 made from a polymer, which has high recovery capability in case of an electrical breakdown, and is put into casing 8. One of the walls of the casing, which is on the side of the other electrode, is one of the dielectric barriers, and one of the two dielectric films is the other dielectric barrier.
EFFECT: longer life service of the ozoniser and improved reliability of operation with reduction of its output.
