FIELD: production of ozone.
SUBSTANCE: electric ozonizer has a stack of alternating electrode plates connected with the high-voltage AC power source and dielectric barriers arranged in the plane of their symmetry. The additional dielectric barriers are interposed between the barriers. The greater the number of barriers in the gas discharge space, the longer time taken for break-down of all barriers.
EFFECT: prolonged service life and enhanced reliability.
