FIELD: chemical mechanical engineering; production of ozone. SUBSTANCE: proposed ozonizer has sectionalized electrode and solid electrode, ballast capacitive load connected to each element of sectionalized electrode and dielectric barrier for increased productivity of ozonizer due to forming widened part of micro-discharge channels. Short-circuiting is excluded due to limiting current in each element of sectionalized electrode by means of capacitive load in case of breakdown of dielectric barrier.
