FIELD: physics; space.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to space engineering, and more specifically to systems of controlling and diagnosis of faults, and can be used for control of tightness in pipe lines of a pneumatic-hydraulic system used in space. According to the invention, in the controlled object - part of a pipe line - there is a working gas at operational pressure. The initial pressure Pi is determined and the initial temperature Ti of the gas in the controlled object is measured at the same time. The pressure Pf and temperature Tf in the controlled object are measured at the same time τk≤Δτ periodically, with a period of δτ<<Δτ. The controlled object of the pneumatic-hydraulic system is considered tight on the validity of the expression obtained after substitution of values of the variables Pi, Pf, Ti, Tf into the expression, protected by the invention data. The invention allows using the method under conditions of change in ambient temperature, use of the results of controlling tightness of pipe lines of the pneumatic-hydraulic system in an automated control system for transmission of the working gas at operational pressure. The invention also allows the use of the method of controlling an object consisting of pipe lines of different diameter and to observe fast-emerging faults on the controlled object, as well as slow-emerging ones.
EFFECT: possibility of controlling loss of tightness of pipe lines of varying diameter at any stage under conditions of change in ambient temperature.
