FIELD: the invention refers to the field of controlling-measuring technique and may be used in cosmic technique namely at checking insulation of sections of pipelines of pneumatic hydraulic systems in conditions of essential changing of temperature.
SUBSTANCE: the mode includes creation in a checked closed volume V of prescribed pressure of gas, measurement of pressure at the beginning Pp and at the end Pe of the given time interval te. At that simultaneously with definition of initial pressure Pp initial temperature of gas Tp is measured. Temperature Te is measured at the end of preset time interval τe at the same time as gas pressure Pe. Summary mass leakage of gas Ge is defined and in case of fulfillment of ratio Ge<Gpres the checked closed volume is considered insulated. At that Ge and te must satisfy the relations given in the formula of the invention.
EFFECT: increases accuracy of definition of the value of leakage and possibility of providing automation of the process of checking insulation of closed volumes due to using information about pressure and temperature.
