SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to systems and methods for identifying unwanted information. The data filtering system consists of a first (initial) filter, which is linked to a frequency of positive false alarms and a frequency for negative false alarms and a second (new) filter, which is also used for filtering messages. The second filter is assessed on the frequency of the positive false alarms and the frequency of the negative false alarms respectively, linked to the first filter. The data that is used for determining the frequency of positive false alarms and negative false alarms of the first filter is used for determining new frequencies of positive false alarms and negative false alarms of the second filter, in the threshold function. The second filter is used in place of the first filter, if there is threshold for the second filter such that, new frequencies of positive false alarms and negative false alarms of the second filter together can be considered better than the frequencies of positive false alarms and negative false alarms of the first filter.

EFFECT: increased efficiency due to easier identification of unwanted information.
