FIELD: computer protection.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of computer protection; it can be used for extraction of information useful to an end user from an array of digital data, including spam intended for deletion. The method contains stages of: reception of messages from spam folders; storage of unprocessed messages to at least one database of unprocessed messages; analysis, by means of at least one spam processing module, of text and service information of each spam message in the database of unprocessed messages in accordance with a given criterion for clustering spam according to the given criterion; extraction of useful information from the formed cluster; antivirus check for prevention of infection by means of an antivirus protection unit and a database with information about infected messages; storage of processed information obtained as a result of the above-mentioned processing in a database of processed information, where the database of processed information is associated with at least one mentioned spam processing module; and provision of a user with the results of processing through the module for provision of processed information associated with at least one mentioned database of processed information.

EFFECT: provision of protection of a user’s computing device from spam messages, while simultaneously extracting data from an array of digital data classified as spam.
