FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: screw-type jet engine incorporates a nozzle with inlet and outlet wherein a rotor and a stator are coaxially arranged with a radial gap between them. The rotor and stator surfaces, facing each other, have protruding teeth with helical grooves and a pitch increasing from the nozzle inlet to outlet. The stator teeth, in section, are those of an asynchronous motor with rectangular open slots. The rotor teeth, in cross section, are the DC motor armature teeth with rectangular open slots. The gap between each of the teeth of both the stator and rotor is invariable from the nozzle inlet to its outlet.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and working medium consumption.
