SUBSTANCE: method of coal combustion includes a ultra-fine grinding of coal, feeding the coal powder mix in the combustion and initiation chamber, degree of fineness of the before said mix is made to be at least 10 microns and is subjected to separation and, then, is injected by means of ejector into the gas turbine combustion chamber. Here, note, that the said degree of fineness is ensured and separation of a coal finer fraction is effected by means of a centrifugal field inside a toroidal vortex arranged directly before the gas turbine combustion chamber. Initiation of coal powder mix in the said chamber is effected by a plasma source on water vapours generated using the outcoming gas enthalpy.
EFFECT: cost reduction and higher efficiency.
