FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: stand for determining optimum ignition modes of coal dust using an intermetallic radiation burner, in which air flow, passing through gas heaters, is supplied to blowing fans with different pressure characteristics, and gas heaters are used to control the temperature of the air flow in range of 30-170 °C, and by means of blowing fans equipped with frequency converters, coal dust ignition modes are set at excess air coefficients αg=0.5-2.5 and flow rate 7-50 m/s, coal dust supply into the air flow is carried out by means of a dust microdispenser-feeder and a dust dispenser-feeder, by means of which the dust content of the air flow is controlled in range of 0.1 to 1.5 kg/kg, wherein dust microdispenser-feeders and dust dispenser-feeders are equipped with bins of coal dust and can be loaded with coal dust with different fineness of grinding, wherein air gates and gates at the inlet of the intermetallic radiation burner are used to switch on or off the stand equipment, at that, the stand has a modular structure, which includes at least two intermetallic radiation burners with different efficiency, different porosity and different geometry, wherein the modular design of the stand involves swapping equipment, wherein each intermetallic radiant burner is equipped with a quartz tube for visual observation of the coal dust combustion process and one intermetallic radiant burner is connected to an adiabatic combustion chamber lined from the inside, and the second intermetallic radiant burner device is connected to the water-cooled combustion chamber simulator of the furnace with solid slag removal, in which the pulverized coal flame is formed and developed, and the water-cooled simulator of the combustion chamber of the furnace with solid slag removal is provided by circulating pumps, at that, along the length of the adiabatic combustion chamber simulator and the water-cooled combustion chamber simulator of the furnace with solid slag removal, inspection windows are made, by means of which aerodynamic, thermal and emission characteristics of the pulverized coal flame are determined under different conditions, further, the stand includes gas ducts into the ash collector, in which combustion products are cleaned from ash, then an ejector and a chimney are installed, by means of which flue gases are emitted into the atmosphere, wherein the stack is equipped with a sampling point for measuring harmful emissions.
EFFECT: improving efficiency of fuel oil-free ignition of coal dust and stability of operation of power equipment.
