FIELD: measuring techniques.

SUBSTANCE: device consists of a receiving section, a neutral network and a comparator. The receiving section serves for measuring current intensity, voltage and temperature on the battery element. The neutral network executes an algorithm for calculating the state of charge of the battery through processing data of current intensity, voltage and temperature, transmitted to it from the receiving section, and data at the moment when the current intensity, voltage and temperature were measured, in accordance with a function, with a predetermined weight coefficient. The predetermined weight coefficient can be changed through an instruction algorithm, which forces the calculated state of charge of the battery, as a result of the instruction, to back-trace the predetermined target value. The comparator compares the output value of the neutral network with the predetermined target value and induces the neutral network to execute the instruction algorithm, if the difference between the calculated value of the state of charge of the battery and the predetermined target value lie outside a predetermined allowance.

EFFECT: provision for dynamic evaluation of state of charge under different conditions; increased accuracy.
