FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to equipment for production of long-length items in the form of strips, bars and profiles from primary or secondary raw materials on the basis of thermoplastic polymers (thermoplastics). Press unit consists of loading bunker and horizontal press with tunnel-type container equipped with heater with working cavity for processed raw materials, puncheon that moves along press axis through bunker and inside working cavity of container, and puncheon drive, and also delivery table. Container is equipped with internal channels for liquid heat carrier that are installed next to the surface of its working cavity. The cavity itself is made in the form of rectangular slot. From the side that is opposite to container inlet, matrix is adjacent to it with one or several working channels that are included into container slot contour and form cross-section of pressed items. Behind matrix straightening-exhaust device is installed for items finishing.

EFFECT: reduction in cost of long-length items production and preparation of high-quality items from physically and chemically heterogeneous raw materials.
