FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: method is designed to create rarefaction in working chambers by communicating them with the vacuum chamber for moving pistons to TDC and to feed air into the said chambers to move pistons to BDC. Every cylinder block cover incorporates spring-loaded valve with a stem one end of which faces the piston to press onto the piston rod to the piston to TDC. Here, the working chambers communicate with atmosphere to move the piston for air to be forced in to force the piston to its BDC. The engine incorporates a compressor and a camshaft with cams and followers, the pistons being connected with the crankshaft by connecting rods. The cylinder block cover have holes, i.e. one for the working chamber to communicate with the vacuum chamber via a branch pipe with a valve, the branch pipe being coupled with the crankshaft via the follower, and the second hole to feed air into the working chamber. Every spring-loaded valve has a body and a stem furnished with a stop and a spring to interact with the cylinder.
EFFECT: engine output adjustment.
