SUBSTANCE: ice-making unit, which is used in refrigerating devices, comprises one or more ice cube trays, having more than one cell for forming ice cubes, a container having a water filling hole, and a mounting arrangement whereto the ice cube tray and container are inserted, the latter comprising one or more drain holes being disposed on bottom and capable of preventing the water from flowing out until the container lets the air in from any point, upon filling it with water, and a valve enabling the air to pass by means of a cover being disposed on top and screwed in or engaged to the water filling hole, and enabling the water to pass flow from the drain holes by means of taking in the air from ambient atmosphere upon pushing the cover down.

EFFECT: use of this invention provides sanitary conditions and allows the user to make ice without additional filling of mounting elements with water.
