SUBSTANCE: refrigerating appliance has an internal cavity, where an icemaker is placed which is withdrawn with a tray for ice, a central module of the icemaker which is fixed to the inner wall of the refrigerating appliance. The tray for ice is detachably connected to the central module, and water tank is properly connected to the central module so that the water from the reservoir can be transmitted to the central module. The tray for ice and / or water tank is located in such a way that when the tray for ice and / or the water tank is removed, an increase in useful volume occurs, which forms an inside cavity interconnected with the refrigerating compartment.

EFFECT: use of this invention enables to increase the useful volume of the refrigerating appliance, which design does not require any supply of water.
