FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device to identify the internal combustion engine misfire and to a transport vehicle equipped with the said device. These inventions aim at increasing the frequency of misfire identification the internal combustion engine incorporated with a hybrid transport vehicle. The aforesaid device, in response to the state "ON" of the SWj switch (stage S110, i.e. branch "NO"), this device defines, in compliance with this invention, the version of the engine misfire version proceeding from the maintenance conditions and identifies the engine misfire in the entire engine operating range (stage S120). With the system activation frequency Nj exceeds the preset reference value Nref, or when expired time Tj exceeds the preset reference time Tref (stage S130, i.e. branch "YES"), the aforesaid device defines the engine misfire identification type proceeding from the storage battery charge state CS. The engine misfire identification device starts to use the engine misfire identification type in the engine loaded operating conditions in the range of the reference upper limit Nmax of rpm to be set in compliance with the transport vehicle speed V (stage S170) and to use the engine misfire identification type in the cranking conditions in the range of the reference upper rpm limit Nmax to be preset in compliance with the transport vehicle speed V (stage S200).
EFFECT: higher rate of identification of the engine misfire and possibility of the said identification over a wide operating range.
