FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: device for the investigation of filled vessels (10) for the presence of foreign matters (26), such as glass fragments, with transporting device (16) for the transportation of vessels (10) separately, one after another, in one row, in the transportation plane, with first and second X-ray sources (18) for X-ray emission in the required direction, and with device (20, 22) for the reception of X-rays (24) after their passing through vessels (10), the direction, in which X-rays (24) are emitted from X-ray source (18), is slanted within an angle range of 10° to 60° to the transportation plane, the first X-ray source is placed above the transportation plane and its X-rays (24) are directed to the transportation plane from above, second X-ray source (18) is placed below the transportation plane and its X-rays (24) are directed to the transportation plane from below, each X-ray source has a corresponding X-ray receiver and data evaluation device assigned.
EFFECT: increased reliability of recognition of foreign matters in filled vessels.
