SUBSTANCE: use: to control empty containers for contamination. Summary of invention consists in the fact that apparatus for controlling empty containers for contamination includes a radiation source for generating exciting radiation, wherein said exciting radiation is directed to container inner wall and excites detected contaminants to emission of luminescent radiation, at least one device for detecting luminescent radiation emitted by contaminants, as well as a device for analytical processing of detected luminescent radiation, wherein the radiation source is configured to illuminate the entire inner space of the container, and wherein the radiation source is a pulsed radiation source or said detection device is a camera with a shutter.
EFFECT: possibility of improving control reliability and speed of control.
