FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to on-board radio detection and ranging system at (ObRDR) air-crafts. The result is achieved by the claimed instrument, which includes receiver of ObRDR sum channel and non-coherent detector in sum channel, receiver of differential elevation channel, slope inclination detector, five logic elements "AND", logic element "OR", calculator, functional angle transmitter of relief point-height, three memory units and two threshold units, expected value and relief altitude dispersion estimator interconnected in a certain manner.

EFFECT: possibility to distinguish low-altitude air and ground targets if they are detected by means of non-coherent monopulse ObRDR system or coherent ObRDR instruments in non-coherent modes.
