FIELD: sound fixing and ranging. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in development of system for detection of fishing craft within protected sea economic zone or for protection of sea oil production platforms against icebergs. Method includes operations of reception of mixture of signals and noise, measurement of spectra of received mixture within each package of observation directions, computation of values of functional correlation for each observation direction, formation of marks, selection of hypothetical value of tentative range, preliminary formation of predicted spectra of noise signal in reception point, computation of reference spectrum per each formed predicted spectrum, determination of direction of arrival of signals and detection of tracks. EFFECT: enhanced noise immunity in detection of noise signals of sea object. 1 dwg
