FIELD: antenna technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to passive phased antenna arrays for radar stations for detecting ground targets. A two-component flat passive phased antenna array with characteristics correction is proposed, comprising transmitting and receiving antennas with emitters and phase shifters, having a uniform gain for limited scanning angles, in which, in order to expand the functionality to increase its directivity beyond the limited scanning angles between each phase shifter of the receiving antenna and each of its emitter, the first controlled microwave attenuators are installed, and the second controlled microwave attenuator is installed in the transmitting antenna, which corrects the characteristics of the array.
EFFECT: correction of the directivity of the antenna array as the beams of the transmitting and receiving antennas approach the edges of the scanning sector.
