FIELD: radio engineering.

SUBSTANCE: several modes of space multiplexing (SM) are supported in user terminal such as directional and non-directional modes. Several data flows are encoded and modulated for data transfer in accordance with their selected speeds to receive several flows of data symbols. Then space processing of flow is made in accordance with the selected SM mode (for example, by directing vectors matrix and single matrix for non-directional mode) to get several flows of transfer symbols to transfer from several antennae. To receive data, several received data flows are processed spatially in accordance with the selected SM mode (for example, by eigenvectors matrix and space filter matrix for non-directional mode) to get several flows of restored data symbols.

EFFECT: improvement of terminal application effectiveness.
