MULTIELEMENT TRANSMISSION FOR SPACE-DIVISION MULTIPLE ACCESS Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC H04B7/04

Abstract RU 2346391 C2

FIELD: physics, communications.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to data communication. For each terminal, matrix of ascending communication line channel response is provided and decomposed to obtain control vector used by the terminal for transmission via ascending communication line. According to control vector and channel response matrix, effective vector of ascending communication line channel response is generated for each terminal. Several sets of terminals are assessed according to channel response effective vectors to determine the optimal set for ascending communication line transmission. Each of selected terminals spatially processes its symbolic data streams using control vector and outputs the processed symbolic stream to access point. Several selected terminals stations transmit their symbolic data streams to the access point simultaneously using appropriate channels. Access point spatially processes the receiving device over received symbolic streams in accordance with the receiving device spatial processing method to recover symbolic data streams transmitted by selected terminals.

EFFECT: multielement transmission for space division multiple access is invented.
