SUBSTANCE: method gives the unit the possibility to define the degree of its involvement in the process of channel connection creation according to the Logic Channel Control and Adaptation Protocol (LCCAP) and its control. There are three levels of involvement, which the unit can define. These three levels are non-involvement, minimum involvement, full involvement. At the non-involvement, the channel resets if the remote unit is not accordant to all of the parameters defined by the unit. At the minimum involvement and the channel resets if the remote unit is not accordant to all of the parameters defined by the unit, and the unit gets a notification of the time of remote disconnection or of disconnection due to the lost of the host controller interface (HCI) communication channel. At the full involvement, the unit is fully involved in the channel creation/configuring. The unit provides the function designator, which is called to acknowledge or dismiss the parameters. If the parameter is not acceptable, then the connection is disconnected.
