METHOD OF PANCREAS STUMP DRAINAGE ASSOCIATED WITH PANCREATICODUODENAL RESECTION Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A61B17/00 A61M1/00

Abstract RU 2329766 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, specifically to surgery. While specified gland is cut across isthmus and pancreatojejunoanastomosis is formed drainage system is located in main pancreatic duct of pancreas stump along the full length. Drainage is fixed to duct wall and delivered outside eigher intranasally, or jejunostoma. Thus drainage is carried out by means of two coaxial drainage tubes - internal tube with polyperforated working part and external tube with opened end, yet external tube diameter corresponds to duct diameter and is twice more of internal drainage tube diameter. Length of the latter is more than length of external tube by distance corresponding to length of main pancreatic duct of pancreas duct, and drainage system is installed in pancreas duct stump so that polyperforated working part of internal drainage tube is located intraductally before open part of external tube, and the latter is placed in main pancreatic duct by 1 cm and ligatured. Extracorporal ends of drainage tubes are sutured. Method makes it possible to perform hydraulic sanitation of stump duct cavity and retrograde introduction of liquid or medical agents for washing of internal drainage tube lumen and intraductal therapies, provides high efficiency of pancreas stump decompression and sanitation of duct systems.

EFFECT: development of pancreas stum draining method, providing high efficiency of pancreas stump decompression and sanitation of duct systems.
