FIELD: chemistry, inorganic.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geotechnology and can be used for the extraction of nonferrous metals, predominantly copper, zinc from industrial waste and technogenic water resources from mining enterprises. The sorbent for extraction of ions of nonferrous metals from aquatic environments, contains components of the following proportions mass %: pyritic concentrate 74.5-75.5, finely ground slag of copper melting 4.0-5.0, carbonate filler 8.0-11.0, liquid glass 3.0-7.0, technical lingosulfonate 0.1-0.3 and the rest in water.
EFFECT: increase in strength, sorption capacity and the speed of sorption of the sorbent.
