FIELD: woodworking.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking, viz. to fabrication of laminated wood. The method includes fabrication of a multi-layer board made of laminated by successive feeding of wood sheets with specified length, width and thickness, one surface being coated with thermosetting glue; these wood sheets are moved to each top and bottom side of the laminated wood board and such sheet is hot pressed by a pair of hot plates arranged one above the other one with pressing surfaces facing each other and moving to each other and back. One of the said coupled hot plates is moved toward the other hot plate to the position of pressing so that the distance between the pressing surface of one hot plate and the surface of the wood sheet coated with thermosetting glue, fed to one side of the laminated wood board processed that faces the said hot plate is actually equal to the thickness of the relevant wood sheet. The other hot plate is moved to the said hot plate as long as the said wood sheet is pressed into the board processed under specified pressure. Three variants of the device for implementation of the described method are proposed.
EFFECT: increase of strength and quality of laminated wood.
