FIELD: performing operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of structurally oriented composite materials, where wood material acts as a reinforcing element, and a hardened thermosetting binder acts as a matrix. Method of producing structure-oriented wood-composite material includes the following operations: a) obtaining a cardanol-containing epoxy binder consisting of epoxy-diane resin and a cardanol-containing Mannich base; b) application of cardanol-containing epoxy binder on sheets of peeled wood veneer with provision of ratio of wood material : cardanol-containing epoxy binder of 100:(30÷40) parts by weight, respectively; c) cutting along the grain direction of the peeled wood veneer sheets with the applied cardanol-containing epoxy binder to ensure the width of the peeled wood veneer sheets with the applied cardanol-containing epoxy binder of 2.0÷3.0 mm; d) forming a press pack in a mould from strips of peeled wood veneer with an applied cardanol-containing epoxy binder by laying the strips plane-parallel to each other along the longitudinal directions of the fibres, wherein in the transverse direction, the strips are laid with ligation of the sutures by at least half the width of the strip; e) piezo-thermal treatment of the formed press pack in the closed mould to obtain a workpiece; f) removing the workpiece from the mould and conditioning it at the temperature of the working room.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a structure-oriented wood-composite non-laminar material with orthotropic properties, having two axes of symmetry of mechanical properties with improved strength characteristics and moisture resistance without special treatment of the material.
