FIELD: fresh water producing technology. SUBSTANCE: this relates to producing fresh water from air without using energy from external source and with no harm to ecology of environmental medium. Fresh water producing device has pipeline 1 which is immersed in deep layers of water basin (sea), and vessel 3 which is connected with pipeline and located in surface layer of warm water and connected with this layer of warm water through bottom hole 4. Located in vessel above water surface is air duct 6 with unobstructedly open inlet hole 7 and outlet hole 8. Inlet hole 7 is located above outlet hole 8. Lower wall of air duct which is inclined towards pipeline functions as partition between cooling zone which is located below partition and filled with running cold water and condensation zone which is located above partition within limits of air duct. Additionally installed in system of pipeline-vessel is axial impeller pump, and additionally installed in air duct is axial fan. Movement of water from deep layers is effected through pipeline and vessel due to outflow of cold and more dense water from vessel to zone of more warm and less dense water in surface layer. In this case, system of pipeline-vessel operates like communicating vessel under effect of hydrostatic forces from side of surrounding water. Movement of air in air duct takes place due to cooling of air and increasing its density at coming into contact with cooling partition. Condensate of water steam setting on upper surface of partition which is not wetted with water is collected in fresh water vessel 11. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 cl, 1 dwg
