FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the production of construction materials. The method of producing of granulated thermal insulation material includes preparation of the raw mix containing siliceous rock of diatomaceous type or gaize or tripoli, alcaline component as sodium hydroxide or potassium with addition of the water amount reqired for the convenience of making a mix, blending, making a mix and heat treating. During preparation of the mix ethyl silicate containing 40.5% of silicone dioxide, 14% of tetraethoxysilane is added to the aqueous solution of sodium bicarbonate or potassium, then portionwise dosed siliceous rock and sodium bicarbonate or potassium is introduced, water is added in the specified quantity. Received after moulding granules are powdered by crushed siliceous rock. Heat treating is performed at the temperature of 300-500°C during 5-15 minutes or at the temperature of 501-900°C during 1-5 minutes. The mixing ratio of the raw mix components is, mass %: the above mentioned siliceous rock 69-91.5, sodium bicarbonate or potassium 8-30, mentioned ethylsilicate 0.5-1.

EFFECT: producing of ecologically clean thermal insulation material from local natural raw material of increased strength and water resistance, simplification and duration decrease of production technology.
