FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: engine valve train drive system incorporates a rocking lever linked with the engine valve and furnished with a section adjoining the valve drive cam. The first connecting lever with its one end tied to the said rocking lever and its other end fitted to rotate on the engine housing.The second is connecting lever with its one end tied to the said rocking lever and its other end fitted to rotate on the offset movable support shaft. The said rocking lever is designed so that the section of linkage with the valve features a greater width along the valve drive cam rotation axis compared to that of the other section.
EFFECT: proposed design allows continuous variation of the valve travel, leave alone the smaller system overall sizes.
