FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: socket/plug terminal holder incorporates a housing that can be arranged in a casing, and a good few electrical terminals mounted on the housing and formed by a pairs of knives arranged in a plane perpendicular to the direction of socket/plug connection. Knives of every pair have contact edges, facing each other, allowing the arrangement of current conductor of the cable to be connected. To direct and clamp the conductor, every lever is pivoted to the housing and can be turned up outside to release the conductor from the knives pair or can be fixed on the housing to arranged the conductor among opposing edges of the knife pairs to ensure electric contact. The above turning motion occurs in the plane parallel to the connection direction. When engaged, the lever part extends beyond the housing so as to allow disengaging the lever manually.
EFFECT: simpler design because the lever engagement/release can be made manually, higher-quality electric connection.
