FIELD: connection of power supply or switching of electric and electronic devices as well as electric and electronic circuits.
SUBSTANCE: contact jacks of plug connector made in the form of U-shaped clamps with shaped projections or draw-in attachments are provided with detents for shaped projections of U-shaped clamps or for heads of draw-in attachments. Detents of each contact jack have springs to create hold-down pressure on contacts. Slider designed to displace detents from input hole of contact jack is set in motion by lever held in position by means of locking device. Release button of locking device protrudes from contact jack shroud plane in vicinity of pin entry. Contacts are brought together upon complete entry of contact pins into contact jacks due to pressure of front wall of contact-pin unit wall on locking device release button. Contact separation takes place upon pushing slider displacement lever. Use can be also made of lever that pushes contact-pin unit under action of slider displacement lever out of contact jack hole. When provided with safety spring and current sensor, proposed plug connector enables overload protection of supply mains.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of contact for different-thickness contact pins or strips, facilitated contact connection and disconnection, enhanced electric and fire safety.
