FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: engine is intended for application in power industry, particularly in electrostatic forces research, and as a low-powered engine. The capacitance engine includes dielectric case with a rotating shaft installed into it. The shaft bears moving dielectric element in the form of a fiber cone, and metal electrodes tilted against the perpendicular to the moving element surface. With the help of bolts and bearings the shaft enters moving support sliding along the common base. Electrodes are set in radial pattern, and one end of each electrode rod is fixed in dielectric flanges. One more shaft with gear wheel in installed in one of the flanges and the case with the help of bearings.

EFFECT: expanding functional properties due to the torque increase.
