FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: magnetic resonance heart tomography is performed in T1-weighted mode prior to and in 5-30 min after intravenous introduction of paramagnetic, 0.25M MnCl2 solution, in amount 1 ml/10 kg of body weight. Image amplification index is calculated for cardiac muscle within all regions by formula where Al is image amplification index; is intensity of T1-weighted myocardium image on MR-tomograms written down after MnCl2 solution has been introduced; is intensity T1- weighted myocardium image on initial non-contrasted MR-tomograms. Coronary ischemia is diagnosed within that heart region where the image amplification index is less than 1.10.
EFFECT: method provides reliable diagnostic effect and reduces diagnostics cost.
