SUBSTANCE: drum separator magnetic system incorporates radially magnetised magnets arranged inside the drum on a magnetic bridge of alternating polarity in the drum rotation direction. The magnets are curvilinear in their crosswise section. The magnet outer surface curvature radius is smaller than that of its inner surface.
EFFECT: high-efficiency magnetic separation of highly magnetised ores.
