FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for arrangement and fastening of cylindrical shape wood on special flat cars used for pipes transportation. Flat car (1) with lateral posts (2) receives wood to be arranged in four stacks (3) with two wire ties (4). Stacks (3) arranged on flat car (1) should not be higher than 100 mm below the upper end of lateral posts (1). Stacks (3) are arranged along the length of flat car (1) in pairs and tightly in a pair. Outer end of extreme stacks (3) are laid on liners (5) arranged on stiffening ribs of flat car (1) at a distance of 300-500 mm from the ends of stacks (3). The ends of medium stacks (3) facing each other are laid on liners (5) arranged on rubberised transverse beams at the centre of flat car (1). liners (5) are wire-tied to these beams at two points. Opposite lateral posts (2) are cable-tied.
EFFECT: wider range of application of flat cars, higher reliability of cargo fastening and transportation safety.
