FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in laying in lines 1, 2, 3 so that every next cargo in every line is displaced toward opposite end of transport facility relative to end whereto previous cargo is displaced. Larger faces of every cargo are laid toward the end whereto they are displaced while smaller faces are laid toward inner section of transport facility. Total cross section of larger faces of, at least, bottom line, is smaller than width of transport facility loading space by 0.8-1.0 of cargo larger face. Prior to laying cargo onto transport facility every cargo unit is provided with protective package and placed in wooden grating. Every long cargo features oval cross section or that approximating thereto. In case transport facility has face walls 4, 5, cargo is laid through safety board as far as it goes.
EFFECT: reliable fixation of long cargoes on, primarily, long-wheelbase railway platforms.
