FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine production, in particular, to rotary-piston-type internal combustion engines. The rotary-piston ICE incorporates a housing with working chambers, a combustion chamber, a semi-cylinder-choker and a spark-plug. The working chambers accommodate running rotors. The combustion chamber is arranged between the rotors representing parallel plates fitted on the shaft. The larger diameter plate making a compressor rotor, is furnished with a radial groove smoothly increasing from zero to maximum value on the first half of the said plate circumference, and smoothly decreasing from the maximum value to zero on the second half of the said plate circumference. The semi-cylinder-choker represents a spring-loaded segment arranged in the radial groove to move relative to the combustion chamber casing till abutment of the semi-cylinder inclined bottom upon the radial groove base. The semi-cylinder-choker bottom represents three plates. The semi-cylinder-choker inner and outer surfaces adjoining the radial groove walls are furnished with slots incorporating spring-loaded sealing plates. The compressor plate is arranged so as to move along the shaft actuated by the flexible element. The compressor plate side surface ledges and the casing recesses are arranged, along the radius, below and above the radial groove to make a labyrinth seal.

EFFECT: higher effective horse-power of the rotary-piston engine.
