FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and gas turbine power plants. The gas turbine power plant incorporates a gas turbine engine with a compressor, a combustion chamber, a turbine, its wheel coupled, via the engine shaft, with the compressor rotor, a free turbine arranged behind the turbine and connected, via a load shaft, with a generator, and an exhaust device. A Sterling engine is arranged after the free turbine, the generator being furnished with two rotors, one of which being coupled, via the load shaft, with the free turbine and the other, via the external shaft, is coupled with the Sterling engine. The latter contains, at least, one working cylinder arranged behind the free turbine and, at least, one expansion cylinder arranged outside the engine.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability of the gas turbine plant.
