FIELD: mechanics, measurements.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engineering tools, particularly, to balancing machines for wheelset balancing in the car-care centers. The proposed control system built around the customer-server configuration incorporates a computer, a data I/O unit and a data display/input unit connected to the computer. Unlike known systems, the computer incorporates two programs, that is, one operating on the customer principle with displaying wheels misbalance measurement results on the data display/input unit and the program operating on the server principle with gathering, processing and outputting the data to the customer. Here, note that there is a communication line arranged between the customer and the server allowing the customer to control the wheelset balancing process. This system increases reliability of the said machine operation, allows remote diagnostics of the machine, ease of operation and lower costs.
EFFECT: higher reliability and control of the balancing machine.
