METHOD OF FORMATION OF PHARYNX-ESOPHAGUS ANASTOMOSIS AFTER EXPANDED LARYNGECTOMY Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A61B17/24

Abstract RU 2331375 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ENT surgery. Essence of invention consists in that pharynx-esophagus anastomosis is formed after expanded and combined operations in case of malignant pharynx tumors. Wound lips are connected on depth of all three layers of mucosa with three-row suture, i.e. mucosa, submucous tissue and muscle layer. Anastomosis is covered with sternum-clavicle-nipple muscles and long aspirational drainage of postoperative wound is carried out. Application of the given invention allows for achieving strong mechanical connection of mucosa lips, formation of good postoperative scar, as well as for preventing development of suppurative postoperative inflammation in wound.

EFFECT: strong mechanical connection of mucosa lips, formation of good postoperative scar, prevention of development of suppurative postoperative inflammation in wound when operating on ENT organs.
