SUBSTANCE: in the method the acidified solution containing elementary iodine, is extracted by a countercurrent off 10% solution tributylphosphate in kerosene. The ratio of the volume of the organic phase to the volume of the water phase is 1:10, and time of contact of phases is 15 minutes.
EFFECT: preservation of efficiency of extraction of iodine with the least expenditure of the extractant and thinner.
