FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy of molybdenum and rhenium, and namely to a method of extracting metals from rhenium-molybdenum-containing sulphide-oxidised ores by hydrometallurgical methods. Invention can be used for extraction of molybdenum and rhenium from ores with high content of molybdenum and rhenium, having complex variable composition. Crushing and grinding of rhenium-molybdenum-containing material to size > 0.25 mm is carried out, then leached with 10 % nitric acid at temperature 80–90 °C and ratio Vliq/Vsol = 4 at atmospheric pressure. Extraction is carried out in several stages. At the first stage, the main amount of molybdenum is extracted from the leaching solution. At the second stage, the solution is purified from iron, aluminum, molybdenum, manganese and magnesium. At the third stage, rhenium is extracted.
EFFECT: method provides higher degree of extraction of molybdenum and rhenium from volcanic rock of Kudryavy volcano to ammonium perrhenate and ammonium molybdate.
