FIELD: mining engineering.
SUBSTANCE: this invention belongs to the mining engineering and may be used for open-cut method of mining of mineral deposits as steep ore bodies and pitching ore shoots of different depth and as lodes. Open-cut method of mining of mineral deposits comprises the following stages: mining of a deep pit with escarpments of edges in hanging and bottom layers of banks with a changing slope grade up to vertical ones at the last operating stage. Meanwhile ore mining is performed in horizontal layers in pit edges by the drilling-and-blasting. Finished material is stocked and conveyed to bunkers or load-transfer devices and transported by vertical and high-angle conveyor to the surface and then to the centre of consumption. Mining of a pit is performed in layers of thickness of 0.3-0.4 m at banks of 2x3 m by the assemblies providing short-hole drilling, hole charging, hole firing, shipping and transportation of broken by each assembly material by main conveyers at levels. When the level is lowering and pit area is expanded benching edges are formed. Ramps at which support service vehicles are in transit are built up for the transportation of shift personnel, parts of assemblies to mining levels. Sides of rock massif at the mining edge of a pit are mined with stone-cutting machines.
EFFECT: enhancement of operating efficiency, cutout of costs for extraction of minerals and hard rocks.
