FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to guiding mechanisms intended for reproduction of certain curves and can be used as a drive of several surface processing tools and as a skeleton for flapping wing-type mechanisms that vary their shape in motion. The multiple articulate parallelogram contains a post, a driving link, at least two con-rods and two equal-length driven links. The driving link is hinged to the post and the first con-rod, the first driving link is hinged to the post and the second con-rod , the second driven link is hinged to the first con-rod. Links in every pair "the first con-rod - the first driven link" and "the second con-rod - the second driven link" are interlinked at central points. The hinges jointing the driving link with the post and the con-rod with the driven links represent one-way hinges. Axes of all hinges jointing the con-rods to driven links are perpendicular to the plane the con-rods and driven links are arranged in. The axis of the hinge "driving link - post" is parallel with the con-rod and driven links plane. The hinge "driving link - first con-rod" represents a three-way hinge. The two-way hinge "first driven link - post" is arranged in the driving link rotation plane with its first axis parallel to that of the hinge "driving link - post" and the second axis being perpendicular to the plane of con-rods and driven links. The driven link length is smaller than that of the post, the sum of lengths of the said links is smaller than that of the first con-rod.
EFFECT: expanded performances of the device due to simultaneous reproduction of several closed 3D curves featuring their specific parameters.
