FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: method of adaptive angular coordinates measuring for observed object is based on definite angular direction probing when angular coordinates are determined by direction-finding characteristic of angular coordinates indicator calculated for each angular position of phased array taking into account data of built-in test system. Data are stored as a spreadsheet being updated when phased array elements status is changed or angular direction is again probed, if phased array element status is not changed. Additionally, data of geometry, operating temperature and radiation frequency change as well as data of phase control discreetness, operational scattering, and temperature and frequency dependencies of phase inverter stored in memory unit are supplied to computer from built-in test system. Direction-finding characteristic of angular coordinates indicator stored in storage unit as a spreadsheet is updated when phased array geometry is changed and operating temperature and radiation frequency is also changed above the preset values.

EFFECT: improvement of angular coordinates measuring accuracy under common effect of destabilising factors.
